L Knee, Other

2008-07-17 - 2008-09-23

severity grade: 2

Possible cyst on left knee tendon. Pains after cycling. The orthopaedist recommended ice, rest, NSAIDs and then resuming activity slowly. If the pain persists or the bump grows larger, then return to the doctor for and MRI.

I stopped riding bicycle. I was amazed to find that running aggressively had no affect on the severity of the pain. Only riding seemed to aggravate it. Taking time of the cycle brought recovery. As of end date I am back to commuting 3 days per week on the bicycle. I am not pushing the pace like I was. Not sure if I ever will again. It is only a "commute" after all.
