Day 4 - can limp with the ankle brace, but still have pain and swelling in the ankle and can't rise up onto my toes at all.

Day 7 - still hurts to walk, but could even do some balancing exercises today at the gym (stand on one leg with eyes open). Still can't rise up on my toes, though.

May: was able to run fast at Team Trials - foot sore afterwards, but i didn't feel it while racing (perhaps adrenaline was enough to dull the pain).
Late May: was able to train during Canadian training camp lots of hours and was fine, some soreness in the achilles bursa, but not enough to hinder training
mid-june - hiked for 10 hrs - soreness afterwards, but fine
sep - can train normal weeks again. some soreness after Pawtuckaway weekend, but otherwise fine.
