swelled up again after swimming / bike 6 mi on Thursday and Saturdays 10 miler. iced it and ibuprofen . Bought brace

better by thursday july 20, swim on july 21 aggravated it a little. Swam on Sunday 23 without using legs ; continue ibup. swelling down

july 25 run seriuosly aggravated it; swellin up and v painful. got it aspirated and a steroid injection. see how this goes. Good today 7-27-06

8/1/06 feeling Ok and with no ibupr

8/17/06 swelling up again a little
8/19/06 was Ok for 3 - 4 hours at the rogaine but painful afterwards 8/20 Ok when walking about painful after resting

8/21 finally got right diagnosis: swelling in the knee caused by Lyme Disease (confirmed by blood tests and tests on the aspirated fluid from knee) started antibiotics.
8/24 noticeable less swelling .. antibiotics seem to be working on the Lyme Disease

8/30 - 9-6 hiking in the mountains ...lot better ... some pain after 8 1/2 hr day including 4500' of downhill with a heavy back pack on

9-6 thru 9-25 PT and knee feeling better... a little pain on the inside of th knee.

9-24 jogged on it at Willow river. seemed good and Ok the next day

9-25 Dr H aspirated the knee ...a small amount of fluid, still Lymey but at 50% of the count from last time. Start round 2 of doxycl.

9-29 Jogged a little at Hyland occasional twinge on knee

Lyme disease ... caught it in aug 2005 , but not diagnosed until aug 2006
