L Foot, Impact wound / trauma

Dropped Hatchet on my foot and it hit blade down. 1 inch gash through the top layer of skin. 1/8 inch opening. Also some impact trauma to the area from the weight of the hand ax hitting the foot. Fell off work bench, approximately 42 inches in height.
18 days out - almost healed, only hurts with direct pressure on the cut, like when putting shoes on.
No pain left, just the scar to remind me to wear shoes when working in the shop.
