L Foot, Impact wound / trauma

i've had a fair few injuries in my time, but this has got to be the most ridiculous. walking downstairs in my socks, i was carrying my laptop power adaptor which i dropped and then trod on, impaling the front of my left foot on one of the plug pins. blood everywhere. IDIOT.
following morning discomfort and bruising, but bleeding has halted.
hopefully shouldn't be out of action for too long.
still unable to run, but back on bike and spinning. just bruising now i think, wound has healed.
