Badly sprained ankle in hockey, turned quickly whilst running at 80% of top pace, rolled over onto side. Went down like sack of spuds.
But no more subs (another guy pulled hamstring) so carried on limping for 15 minutes. Could run ok in straight line, just couldn't stop or turn.

UPDATE: Physio thinks no real ligament or tendon damage. Mainly muscle damage to muscles that operate toes.
Phew.
Still a little weak, but braced.
recovery helped by rest, and also ice/heat combination.
