R Foot, Other

2010-10-26 – 2010-11-05

Grade: 2

Dull pain under and to the rear of my pinkie toe knuckle. Seems like an inflamation, not muscular or skeletal. My talks with other runners lead me to thinking that it is too many miles in old non-supportive shoes.

Resting and cross training on a bike. Also looking for new shoes next week.

Rest and cross training activity seems to have helped recover. I can still feel it, but I can run without pain so I am considering this healed. Running injured is not smart, and not running at all sucks. So lesson learned is don't be cheap when it comes time to buy new shoes, and always listen to your body.
