Since pool running still bothers my ITB, I thought I would try regular freestyle laps. It seems vaguely relevant for skiing. So now we are cross-training for cross-training. And there is a lot of room for improvement, this seems to be only my fourth lap swim in AP history, though now it’s official since I made a new activity type.

Anyway assuming the pool is 25 yards, I was going to try to do 100s but ended up stopping every 25 with a longer break every 100. A few breaststroke laps mixed in as needed. Except I didn’t count exactly right and the watch definitely didn’t, about 500 total. At least it made my arms tired.
