got out and did a few hours of mapping in the fells this morning. it was nice to be back in the forest. this area seems to be quite open forest even in the summer, so it should be great for fall/spring events.

my back has not actually hurt for the last day or so. that's good. I haven't run since last tuesday, but maybe tomorrow. probably a bit of mapping also, since that's a good thing to do in the meantime...starting a new map of the nice part of the fells.
