| still haven't ordered a new compass, but after greenbelt, I thought I should have something, so I brought along this old baseplate mapping compass I got from karen w back in the day. didn't use it much since the needle was horribly slow, but it helped at least to verify the direction of the sun every once in a while so I could just use the shadows. fun running, it felt like I was moving along pretty well. eddie and jon t were there, but haven't seen their times or splits yet. |
