Tiomila leg 6. officially 9.7km. A pretty good run, only one substantial mistake (a minute lost on #3), and a fair amount of hesitation on #2. by myself until about 6 or 7, and then with a small posse of 3-4. I was quite tired by the end (long finish chute) and narrowly avoided barfing on the finish e-punch box. Distance is a guess, since I figured it was not worth the DQ risk of wearing the FR. I should probably have a non-GPS HRM for situations like this.

Also, I just figured out why I have such a good placing on my leg (100/332, +11:56). it's because it was just dawn when I ran (without a headlamp), and many others were starting as much as 2.5 hrs earlier when it was probably still quite dark. still, very happy with my run.

a few controls on the tiomila training map. pretty low visibility in many places. still can't hear out of my right ear, a result of congestion + pressure changes from the flights in.

less sick today, the dazed feeling is pretty much gone and I'm just stuffy. and maybe that's partly allergies, which are also hitting me at the moment. felt a bit better after the run. at least I should be rested up for the weekend.
