Sleep still not very restful, waking up earlier than I need to.
Still have mild headache, feel grumpy, low energy, not happy.

Cleaned house for 2 hours, then walked 15 grade incline for 10 min. Very lethargic today, retaining loads of water. Hopefully I'm in some kind of pre-swoosh mode.

76.5 kg! Haven't cheated. Went to hotpot tonight, got distended once we got home.

Although water weight is up, still have a slight brow-headache, I'm feeling slightly less ravished than usual, 20 min HIITs was good although not as fast as pre-Paleo, and the 30 min strength trainging was strong, marked improvement.

10 min light, really light jogging, followed by 40 minutes of strength.

Trying to ramp down the "chronic cardio" for a month of low-cortisol, fat loss.
Concept for fat loss month/low level aerobic/low stress

Mon - 60-120 min Hike/Pilates
Tues - 60-90 min slow, trad weight training
Wed - 20/30 min HIITS running/ or circuit workout
Thur - 60-90 min Hike/Pilates
Fri - 60 min slow jogging/ body weight strength

20 min HIITS alternate between 8.5 and 11.5/12/13km hr
30 strength, no power, just traditional sets with breaks

Have been really wanting fruit, had half a big pomegranate after workout, along with a little chicken/cabbage...2 small persimmons, one before working out, one after dinner, and I will have the rest of my pom. I hope to just cold turkey some time this week, changing to a small sweet potato post workout. I don't want to give up vigorous workouts for the goal of fat loss alone.

Pre = Post: 74.8 Kg I might be seeing the water weight gap closing. Perhaps my weight loss will be slower as inches fall off. We'll see.

HIIT: 10 min of steady incline from 1% to 8% grade over the course of 10 min. the next 10 min was 30-60 sec intervals between 8.5/9 KM/HR to 11.2/12.2km/hr.

Energy was good, but eventually waned toward the end of the strength. Replenished with a small orange and walnuts.

Certainly, getting better. Still eating my 2nd serving of fruit at night. Will I be able to stop?

Felt crappy this morning after the night of one beer. I ate great otherwise, although a little to less of the water. I was also sore from Mon workout, which seems strange.

Ran for 40 min, very easy, but elevated my mood.

No more beer...really bad way to "cheat"

Had good lunch/dinners out, all P, but had a bottle of Yanjing beer with dinner.
No bloating, but had mild diarrhea, incomplete BM the next morning. Was it the beer or something in the cold salads?

Who knows...but now that we're clear of guests, we won't be eating out for quite a while.

Walked around with M and Hin all afternoon, easy, steady walking. Nice active rest.

Started with jump rope and high step-ups (20) 4 sets, followed by 3 sprints. Felt slow to recover from sprints, took me longer to start the next move. Gym circuit went pretty well, did plyo and power moves to keep heart rate up, but I moved through weights slowly, at some point I would loose my concentration on the set, just sitting on the machine staring when I realized that I was in the middle of a workout. Weird, but not as low energy as yesterday.

I had half a banana about 1 hr before workout. Then small orange and almonds after. Energy is okay.

20 min HIIT. Felt a little low energy going up to the workout. Was able to do running HIITS at 8.5 km/hr 30 sec. recovery, with 10.5, 11.5, 12, and 13 30 sec intervals.

The proceeding weight training was very draining. Felt very low. Came home and had a pear. I hadn't had fruit in a few days.

Wow, dropping water weight getting back down to my base.
Added back a half-cup of sweet potatoes and 3 oz of dark choc just for fun, the result was that my run and workouts had just enough energy, still felt winded sooner than normal, but much better than the last 2 days. I think I need to keep eating spotatoes in the morning.

Paleo diet has stabilized my weight, no ill effects. Only benefits.No gas, feel tighter, no water retention, or bloating, no hunger.

Excellent HIITs workout: 15 steady run, 15 min 8x interval, followed by 30 min of full body strength.

Going all P today.

Breakfast: sweet potatoes and cabbage, a handful of pork, a smattering of lima beans (not Paleo, but still not terrible, we have to exhaust our extensive bean stores). I felt full immediately. I usually a eat a huge bowl of oats, banana, and soy milk, but the same huge bowl filled with P food, had me "done" with breakfast rather quickly, maybe because it didn't taste so great. I need to jigger these breakfasts so that they are more mild and "sweeter" than the other meals.

Maybe, walnuts, cold chicken, bananas/sweet potatoes, and celery juice or something. I'm excited about the possibility of this diet, excited that I could eat food without such dramatic and unexpected gastro-troubles.

Ate Paleo all day! Huge hot pot feats and no distension, no gas, or weird heaviness, and I ate a lot!

Run was really good, despite not getting enough sleep. Only will get better!

Reading about Paleo...considering a trial month once we've exhausted our supplies of oats, rice, beans...going to be prep-intensive, but so is every other diet.

Had terrible bout of diarrhea last night, but why? Had tons of veggies and smoked tofu strands...the last time I had market tofu, I got constipated. Going to hard on the soy milks, since taking out dairy, feeling like it's "not right," just a feeling, there's not much satiety effect to our homemade soy milk, and it makes me feel a little "acidy" if that's actually what's going on.

Also, since the WF diet, I've eliminated a ton of protein, in the form of eggs and diary. Wondering where that has left my hormone balance. I feel out of whack in the sleep department. Waking up early, then staying up for an hour, before trying to get back to bed. Having disturbing dreams. It's weird. Hoping that bringing back animal proteins will give me some kind of hormonal relief. The soy infusion, could be the culprit, need to cut back, need to not make that my go to protein.

Had P-dinner, felt good. Very satiating, immediately. But then we found ourselves eating guoba on the bus to the airport. One last time. I mean, 4-5 hours in shuttle and an airport, you need a little distraction. This led to almost immediate gas and tightness in my stomach. I am very de-motivated to eat these foods. The relative slenderness of my stomach before, versus what I face after. Not worth it. I need to keep some kind of alternative snack on me, maybe just apples and nuts in my bag at all times.

Moderate 50 minute run, right calf a little tight, not a big deal
Strength: 10 minute abs, 20 min arms and legs

Felt a little powered down, under-fueled, BM was still bad today, perhaps cause of the little up in weight.

Diet was good all day, but cheat: had 3 light beers at dinner. I never do that! Well worth it. Let's see the results tomorrow.

Biked for 6 hours.
Had lunch out : Pork dumplings with salad. Had coffee creamer this morning, and a small little sugary sample at Ikea, three licorice candies. Stomach bloated for the 1st time in 4 days, quite distended.

Also, weight was a little higher today before the ride. BM was not good, I think my store-bought smoked tofu and gouba dinner had something to do with it. Gotta get back on the WF plan, with no small cheats. Also, was
