Warm-Up: 200 m jog slow (2:42) + light stretching

Crossfit:

4 rounds of:

burpees 10
squats 25
sit-ups 35

Had to go slow today, otherwise bad form and pain

10 min stretching and pilates

Carrying a lot of water weight. Too many fruit carbs after dinner?

No eggs for 3 days just to see what happens. No fruit for 3 days to see if anything changes. No eating after work.

Keeping carbs to a very small sweet potato after CF workout and coconut water.

Super sore. Can't really go down stairs. Tuck jumps combined with the previous days tire pull, and not having recovered from the squats from Day 1. Feeling low too, but can't decide if that's because I can hardly move, or whether I've hiked my cortisol with 3 days of intensity (albeit not very long at all weirdly enough).

I was supposed to do

2 rounds of:

400m run
50 lunges (25/leg)

Did the run (achingly), but I couldn't do the lunges at all. My quads are locked. Tried a modified 1 ft. step-up and even that was unbearable.

Dang it. I just wanna move on with the workouts. I try to do what I can through the soreness. Ain't stopping, but slowing down a lot.

Day 2 Crossfit- pretty sore, but not debilitated. Can't squat.

Found this, which is so much better than timing Tabata on a wristwatch.

I downloaded the Tribal (with coach and whistle) cuz you know I'm into the multi-ethnic stuff.

3 tabata rounds:

Push-ups (not great after the first interval)
Sit ups (kind of nice and not a big deal after the push-ups)
Tire Pull (I was supposed to do air squats for legs, but couldn't, besides pulling a tire is a hell of a calf workout, give the quads a break)

Michael watched me. I can't wait to watch him do a Tabata one day!

Day 1 of beginner gymnastic/metcon no-gym CrossFit (CF)

Warm-up: 5 min run to the track while dribbling a bball and holding a full 700ml bottle.

CF:
10 burbees (form needs work, back is dipping when tired)
20 air squats
30 sit ups

3 rounds for time: 2:32/2:07/2:31 = aprx

Really feeling the burn on those air squats, especially when I ran 400 m to the bathroom afterward, arms feeling 'done' but they weren't done enough for another...

25 minutes of shooting hoops (vigorously) (accuracy suffered due to burpee arms).

Day 1's a good challenge, but I didn't feel done with running around and playing outside. I like doing more than just CF, the workout needs a good long walk/bball/dance session afterward.
