Walk 2:00:00 [3]

Queens drive. I gave up trying to get boy 2 back to sleep again at 6 (he woke at 1:20, 2:30, 4 and 5:15) and headed out for a walk around the seat. It was very quiet, and was nice listening to a podcast. I must have been v tired and not waking in a straight line though as all sorts of unfit looking types were walking past me by the end. Not much sleep.

Lucy did the braids short map run with Ray and I met her at the end and we walked on to Frans and back. Pooped now.

Walk 1:30:00 [3]

Up newington road looking for a prescription from boots, then on to the meadows with Lucy. So many people running there that have clearly not run for the past 20 years if ever. In fact virtually everyone we passed Lucy smirked and said whispered ‘beginner’ as they passed. Then I spotted two people that were clearly runners on the horizon and pointed them out to her. Turns out it was the Carcas brothers.

Walk 1:15:00 [3]

Walked the MapRun at Craigmillar Golf Course until number 14 when I got a call to say I was needed at home. Bit knackered after a few hours gardening - annual ripping up the weeds session.

Walk 1:35:00 [3]

Up Arthur’s Seat with Loz. He took me up some of the scramble. Not great in my fragile and unfit state with my Atera flats on. Felt knackered after.

Walk 1:40:00 [3]

Round Prestonfiekd GC prior to the suspected resumption of golf (Wednesday). With Lucy. Used MapRun for the first time. Fun. Stopped a bit early as we had to head back to feed the baby. Took a short cut through an overgrown path. The moaning from Lucy about being stung was monumental. About 5 hours sleep last night.

64.1kg

Walk 45:00 [3]

68.3kgs. Rather niche weightloss plan.

Up to Mayfield Terrace to see old friends for a socially distant chat in their front garden. Very slow. Would have been better without the kids who both wanted to push the buggy. I wanted to push the buggy as it would have helped me stay upright.

Probably a bit far. Hurting afterwards.
