Around Arthur's seat orienteering. Bad hamstring really bad, which curtailed things. I blame the hills. Busy weekend doing stuff. Ill kids = no sleep. Cold -> sinus infection. Felt relieved not to be oing this weekend for some reason. This hamstring problem is really holding me back and it would have been depressing not to be able to give the rough sol terrain 100%.

No orthotics so instead of flat reps, hills. 2 x 8 x 1min with jog recovery. The residential road that goes to the observatory car park. For to the parked car before the 'slow'. Felt good but got niggly.

Another day pissing it down, cycling to work. Pitch black. Got to work and was going to do a hw lap but it was too dark to run such a seriously flooded course so laps of ep instead on the grass as was in x-talons, one of the few pairs of shoes I wear without orthotics. Still soleus means I have to jog off road to avoid getting Achilles problems

From cloisters corner around the seat and back with Tessa and Sula. Nice. Good chat. Knees and calves and quads killing. That's all for me today.

The podiatrist just nicked my orthotics for a refurb. For a week!!! Wtf!! How do I run without them???

I was just going to run home but then it occurred to me that the inlaws could take care of the kids for a bit longer and I could go home via hw, currie, harbour hill or bells hill, I never know which is which, bonaly, Redford, craiglockhart, blackford pond. Felt good at the end. Good stamina.

This was probably more on road than off.

Hw path when muddy is perfect for woc long 2013 physical training.fairly soft. Maybe start a 3/4 laps Monday afternoon progression run here.
