Run to as and around an about. V hilly and calf not impressed. Achilles not great either. The physio is back so I hope toget an appointment at some point.

Trying not to slip into general negative pissed-offness with it. It has got loads better recently, massive progress every week. I am so sick of it. Back to roads tomorrow which should be good.

I am never drinking ever again.

Today's three positives:

I'll be well rested for next week
Staying off the diet coke today shows I can be pretty hardcore when I want to be!
It's helped me come to a conclusion on December's theme - something to do with healthy living (tho if I manage this during Christmas and a trip to Belgium - beer, chocolate, moule-frites) I'd be pretty impressed.

Along the canal. All my family and work colleagues have colds, and I wasn't feeling great today, so pleased that I managed to have a slight progression to it. 8:17, 7:47, 7:47, 7:41, 7:14, 7:39, 7:40, 7:13. OK on such a still day. Usually I have a headwind for the first half and a tail wind for the 2nd.

Achilles only 8/10, and tibialis posterior problems 6/10. No stopping needed though.

Longer canal run. Oh what fun! Some bloke seemed to take offence to me running past him, and fought back, I kept upping the pace to get away, he kept responding, but by the time we got to 6:30miling he dropped back. He looked pretty pissed off when he jogged past me as I was doing drills. Some people take these things so seriously ;-)

Didn't feel as out of practice as I should have felt.

Run home with a bit extra. Had to stop and ninja walk a few times then walked from the pav on the meadows. Time to take a step back from hard training for a few days possibly. My 'good' Achilles was niggling very very slightly, and the physio is still off on rugby duty.
