Road running 45:00 [3] 5.0 mi (9:00 / mi)
Jog down to the physio and back. More tape. All runs under 5 miles this week. It was sore, and I have been miserable all day which didn't help my frustration tolerance levels. Grr. Decide to do some road races, pick some that look good and they are all fully subscribed. It is so shit. Punters are suffocating our sport. Take the scottish 5k champs. There has always been entry on the night available in the past - not now. 500 people already signed up. If you aren't a member of a scottish athletic club (you know who you are), or aren't capable of running a decent 5k then you shouldn't get in. I could go on but probably best not. I am feeling particularly bitter. If you're injury-prone you simply can't enter things weeks in advance. If you are a total lazer that doesn't train hard enough to get injured, you can block book all the races, one every weekend, jogging around a half marathon in hours and hours. Right I really must stop, before I offend anyone left that I haven't offended yet.
