No running. After 5 miles a day all of 2018 I took a day off. Late night 5 miles plods were neither fun, not doing me much good. I have got fitter. I have proven to myself that my body can handle running. Now to start training properly, saving energy some days to do better running other days.
Around Priestfield golf course (first time) then to Arthur’s Seat and through the bog, back via Newington looking for food shops open, and not finding any. Good excuse for cereal for dinner. Bit of XC skiing around the neighbourhood after.
From work, Grassmarket, Esplanade, Calton Hill, Arthurs Seat and home. A lovely evening, watching the last of the sun from the top of the Seat. Feeling good. A perfect run.
