Orienteering - race 42:28 [3] 4.7 mi (9:02 / mi)

SHI relays

Felt just as bad - everything ached, worried about my high heart rate (130bpm when driving back to james’s yesterday!) - but the map was bigger so easier to read today, and I had the company of Kim which was nice, even if she beat me, and cat came by too.

All of the Scottish ladies did pretty well today, just England were stronger.

Back home to work out what to do with this Achilles, and get some rest.

Senior Home International

The past 3 weeks has seen a week off from a cold, then a few days off this week with food poisioning and I have only run on Wednesday this week. After that, my left Achilles was sticking, which has been stressing me out ever since. So I am a bit out of sorts which is a shame as I have been in good shape. Mistakes at 14 and 19 cost me. Good course, fun in the tussock-free bits.

Home from work. First time since a stomach bug Sunday / Monday / Tuesday. Felt quite bad. Then later in the evening my Achilles was 'sticking'. Not good.
