Off-road running 55:20 [3] 4.75 mi (11:39 / mi)
Followed by a sprint back via aria falls with Loz. Lucy was going back the straight way we came in the morning (1 mile less, bit more climb) and we were racing her. I had had lots of sandwiches, crisps, salad, chips, some sticky toffee pudding, pavlova and a pint of shandy just before, so perhaps not my finest hour, but I was giving it my all as it sort of occurred to me that it was probably bad parenting to let a 10 year old run over a Lakeland fell by herself. Ray and Bertie were walking behind her, but still.
Very glad to see her at the campsite having beaten us back. She is totally mental. She is a normal whiny child, loathing to be climbing hills, until it is made into a competition and she turns into a girl possessed. It’s very impressive.
