Borders league xc Dunbar

Enjoyed it, felt strong. Enjoyed racing team mates. Legs a bit twingey before and after but not during.

2 mins quicker than I was running in February which is actually quite surprising.

Trail running 8:43 [3] 0.8 mi (10:54 / mi)

Arthur’s Seat Summit Challenge- day 26

I seem to have managed to tweak my left knee slightly yesterday. You know when you get a short, painful twinge right in the middle. Really quite disconcerting. So a walk tonight in the dark. Nice.

Arthur’s Seat Summit Challenge - day 25

Down Castro to St Margaret’s duck ponds, then up queens drive, taking the right about 100m in to the hill, and heading to the top of whinny then on to the top and back via pipers.

I was a bit disappointed about how slow I was on the Mai strava segment there. I mean I felt totally shite, legs dead but I thought I wouldn’t be 2 mins off my best (Jan 2019) on a 6 min segment. Was pleased to see that I’d actually gone a bit walkabout at the end of the segment and dropped a lot of time there. One to go back and do hard one day when I’m feeling fresh.

Arthur’s Seat Summit Challenge day 24

Legs actually tired this morning. I took Lucy with me today due to the kids hanging around the house because of the teachers strike. She took a bit of chivving going up, but stretched me a bit on the way down. Fun. It’s getting colder all the time though.

Arthur’s Seat Summit Challenge day 23

Walked to Pollock to dump some things, then quite hard up and jog back via pipers. Not in o shoes, so not as fun as it could have been. Muddy! Went over on my ankle on the crappy steps above Pipers but it recovered ok.

Trail running 54:06 [3] 5.49 mi (9:51 / mi) +95m 9:21 / mi
ahr:131 max:149

Mooching around Colinton with the trotettes. Great to have company.

Arthur’s Seat Summit Challenge day 22

Just about had enough time in between meetings to squeeze it in. Nice day out there, but feels bloody cold all of a sudden. Treated myself to running in my o shoes from the front door. Bliss. Sore feel tomorrow no doubt.
