Took Henry to the winter classic xc on tackeroo and discovered his bike with new chain and chainring also needed a new cassette. Changed gear perfectly on the stand but when power is put down the new chain binds to the worn cassette teeth. Bugger it. He just went round with a few gears. Still managed 6th M16 which he was pleased about. Promptly asked for a new bike as of the 5 he's already got, none are light and fast enough for xc.

I went for a spin with Hedley round Monkey trying this new dropper post. It's a great tool to have but not worth the cash. Good ride though. Windy.

40 minute sweaty spin before getting on the boat. Resistance quite high so cadence was dropping too much to call it a good effort. Still worthwhile

Storm Doris has weathered us on the jackup. So much for getting off early to spend time with the kids.
Bit of an extended spin. 5mins off 5 mins on@250w. weak as fook but felt like a good session. Id like to think the machine is out of calibration.
