Wrekin Fell race.
Ran it in 2012 in just over 48 mins. Sure i'd be slower this time because all I do now is work.
Started in probably front 20 or so but soon started going backwards as the Ercall kicked up losing a dozen places. I'd pass 2 or 3 on the descent but they'd catch me again on the 'running' bits.
Pretty much settled in to a position up the steep Wrekin climb proper then struggled on the remaining slog to the summit sometimes reduced to a walk.
Picked off a few on the way back down but just not fit enough to get any speed going.
Very enjoyable race just a bit disappointed with my own performance.
Good to see Henry up near the front almost pippng William Kay and making top 10.

Tried the Waterlane 'boulder cave'. I was the only one in there for the whole 40 odd minutes. Like somebodys shed it was that small. All pinchy stuff. Didn't really enjoy it.

Waterlane leisure centre.
Good session tonight. Very busy again but managed an hour on the auto belays then did some top rope with Andrew.
Got signed off for belaying and can do lead next time.
Fingers and forearms gave up prematurely.
