Long Mynd Valleys route with Henry.
A little too overgrown in places. Head high bracken in the batches. Despite that felt a bit better on the climbs than I have on previous efforts. Until I looked up and saw Henry actually running up Yearlet.

Depot Birmingham with the kids.
Somehow this was one of my strongest efforts yet.
Sent most of the blacks I tried. Maybe 3 or 4. Need to move to the reds next. Felt quite strong.

Slow one round the Tamworth Urban. So slow that I lost concentration on control 1, 4 and a few near the end. Fiddly map. A few mis punches by others proved you couldn't get complacent with this one.
Considering my current lack of speed and exactly zero f***s given about doing it - the result is a bit surprising.

10 minutes stretching calf out then A steady 60 along the sea front. Slowed by the sand and shayle a bit but body held up. Need to build on it now

Bought some new resistance bands from tesco and spent half an hour stretching the calf out before heading out to this Heath Hayes urban. Started steady to test it out. Felt a bit sore but nothing major. Tried to pick the pace up but no speed in the legs at all. The nav took my mind off it which worked out well.
