Lashing it down all day long so resigned to not bothering then saw somebody on Strava cycled in Church Stretton saying 'couldn't believe we stayed dry'. Quick weather check revealed wrekin was a goer. Still damp but not raining.
Wrekin fell race route over the Ercall, up wrekin. Down other side and back again. Felt stronger than usual. With Henry mustering for me

Did the leg 4 recce again we attempted last year but abandoned because of clag.
Evident we'd be getting round this time. Just how long it would take with my slow ass.
Followed Kilian's route. It was understandably perfect but not sure about the route up Kirk Fell. Took the scree with the rock. Not the red scree. Think red is better.
Henry having to wait a lot for me.

Mountain biking 1:16:39 [3] 7.54 mi (5.9 mph) +192m
shoes: Commencal Meta TR29 Brit Ed

Took Mary out on the bike. She wanted to have a go at some trails. That was last week though. This was today. So different.
Got to top off Brocton. Attempted secret run but she couldn't be arsed and started crying so we had to ride back. Bloody girls.
