BUCS Relay 3rd leg - Ran with Eric and Emils from Aston University.
Missed 3 and 11 - There are more crags on the ground than on the map. Clean and steady throughout the rest. Legs felt fine but a little bit sleep deprived.

BUCS Individual 3rd (+2.49)
A good race from me and a great course/area/map.
2 small mistakes:
Silly decision to climb above the thicket on 1. (20s)
A small miss on 7, felt the control was in the reentrant rather than on the saddle. (20s)

Caught by Jonny en route to 8 and enjoyed taking him on a bouldering excursion. Looking at splits this ended up being a decent route choice.
Stayed ahead till the butterfly where we went our separate ways. Left the butterfly not far behind but his downhill running speed to 16 was a sight to behold and I wasn't in the same league with my risky ankle.
Joined Tam for the last section of the race. I had a very nice line to 17 but slow into the circle on 18 (tiny knoll!) Straight forward battle the the finish after this.

Easy training at Barr Wood. Stuck to the nicest bits.
Lots of deja vu from about 10 years ago when I last ran here. Probably got lost a fair bit back then!

Was a nice run in the sun until I was circled by some over friendly cows and then later rolled my R ankle quite badly for the 3rd time this Winter. Probably going to need tape this weekend now.
