Up in Aviemore for the day and then went on up to the Northern Night Cup in Forres. Always fun to run on a new area.
Calves feeling terrible still after the weekend and legs not feeling like they had much zip. Totally didn't get into the map very well, took me a long time to check the scale... Really struggling to be accurate in the dark on a fairly open area as there was nothing to aim at, lacking in confidence too. There were a lot of extra trees on the map too. Getting pretty annoyed with myself for being so bananaey esp 10, 13, 15. Clearly quite out of practice. Mis-read the map by 19, thought the fence ticks were a path down to the control but it wasn't and had to run back round.

Went straight back out to re-run 14-15 to see if I could be any better a second time, nope... Did the exact same thing again. Had a bit of a run around to see if I could find the bunkers and work out what was going on and then tried a third time. Had to go up the slope a lot more than I was expecting but did eventually get it right!
