"Relays" Blacka Moor, did 3 mass starts each about 10mins apart rather than a proper relay format.
Unfortunately I was in a mass start with lots of fast people so I was very quickly left behind! This was ok until number 3 where either 2 was in the wrong place or 3 was. Massive miss, I reckon about 3mins... I took a bearing and then just didn't find the control.. Didn't see the path either and ended up way too far down. Annoyed as I was deliberately careful. Once I finally found 3 I took the reverse bearing and it did not point to number 2 which I could still see... The undergrowth to 4 was disgusting, brambles, knee deep heather and mud. Almost gave up at this point as I just wasn't having fun but stuck in as I knew that there was no real reason not to finish. The rest was ok, aside from falling on the way to 12. Saw some horses and Herdwick sheep.

Crashed the CUOC/OUOC Varsity match. Hathersage and Burbage.
Really enjoyed it. A couple of very small misses, dropped too low on 2 and didn't realise at the time that 7 was slightly down from 6, not along! Then got a bit distracted by Phil at 10 and faffed very slightly. Actually felt like I was running properly for the first time in ages, think this run has given me back what I need to get back on it with training.

Easy swimming and 3 x 250m. Efforts were a bit broken up as we kept having to switch ends of the pool as they sorted out lane ropes. Bit more energy today.

Beacon Hill event with LUOC
Good fun but the woods were so brambly, went round on most legs. Some of the controls were very hidden so I faffed a bit in the circle a few times. Saw the depression for 1, couldn't see the control, thought I was wrong and carried on before realising I wasn't and had to go back. Then on 2 I didn't use my compass and wandered... Was better after that.

Did some walking around and was going to go to LUOC monday run but my R ankle got a pain in the front again and it was really sore so I thought I'd better not. Not sure what caused it.
