Very soggy out to Kirkliston and back via Ratho and canal. Most memorable thing to happen was a pheasant on the canal that was fannying about, I slowed down it went off left but then decided to take off and go across in front of me. For a brief moment I thought I might end up in the canal due to my reflex to avoid it, it wouldn't have been any wetter so not sure I'd have been all that bothered...

FWTN - Exchange. The start was literally 3mins from the flat so that was ideal. Visited a few wee bits round the end of the canal I haven't been to before so that was fun, enjoyed it :)
