Running 11:32 [4]

3k time trial with changing directions and distances like we did at NSW camp last year, but this time with controls every 50m
Pretty interesting exercise, I didn't make any mistakes with distance/direction, but still lost plenty of time either through reading the descriptions or punching the controls

Running warm up/down 20:00 [3]

Orienteering 12:19 [4]

Sprint canberra event 2 at Radford
Crazy mass start, thankfully managed to stay within sight of the leaders and get to number 1 ahead of most people, because it turned in to a wrestling match with everybody trying to punch. They definitely needed more than one SI box, plenty of people lost minutes by the end of the course because they were 20s late to number 1 and had to try to fight back. Was surprised to be well into the course and only just have craney and lachy dow overtaking me
Rest of the course was pretty much running, made it through the high granularity section by only looking at my map to check which loop to take
Really happy with my result, good position at control 1, meant I could just stick with everyone till the end, although that last control was a bit annoying

Orienteering warm up/down 15:00 [3]

Orienteering 15:00 [5]

First day of the sprint camp
3 'maze-o' courses plus one short interval at Black Mt Peninsula
Really fun exercise, had to spend all of every single leg thinking about your route to the next one

Orienteering warm up/down 10:00 [3]

Orienteering 20:19 [4]

Sprint canberra event 1 at AIS
No big mistakes, but looking back I probably took the wrong choice of left or right on a few controls - should have gone left to 3, right to 20, and most of all left to 5
Still a nice course, plenty of good route choices even with the low granularity

Orienteering 38:43 [4]

Twilight event at Hackett Hill
Unlike most of the super slack elites I took the training course with half the map blanked out, although I did have the advantage of putting out controls 7, 8, and 9
Ok through the first loop, but then failed to hit 10 and didn't know if I had gone left or right, so ended up at 11 and went back
Messed up again at 18, drifting downhill and searching around the bottom of the damn to find the control
