Much better race, most of the time lost (other than first control) was due to glasses fogging up and not able to see controls in the same clearing 10m away. After wiping them with damp tissues, they never fogged again. Twice I quickly realised I was not where I was expecting to be, and quickly corrected myself to the control. Sadly, this is still unusual for me...

TACO - Good training, bearings often true, and got better at reading terrain by contour lines. It helped that I knew McCarthy Park fairly well.

A horrible run, got lost four times, including to the first control. No sleep the night before is only partially to blame. Estimated time lost to mistakes: 38:15.

TACO - Thursday Afternoon Competitive Orienteering practices. Borked the approaches to #2 and #9. After the latter, light was failing so I had to race to start before I couldn't see anything...

First race of the season, mostly urban. Two small errors, one major one (go back to the clear instead of fighting through dark green!) and two controls were misplaced. Endurance training showed an improvement in race.
