running 1:00:00 [3] 7.5 mi (8:00 / mi)

Hill progression, which felt ridiculously easy. I'm feeling good lately.

Friday Nov 23, 2012 #

running 1:00:00 [2] 3.5 mi (17:09 / mi)

Did my treadmill hiking, hill sprints outside, then lifted weight back in the gym.

Thursday Nov 22, 2012 #

running 18:55 [3] 5.0 km (3:47 / km)

Local Thanksgiving 5K that, true to form, I paced very poorly. I seem to have wrapped my head around the notion that Marathons need to be started relatively slow, but the shorter races still trip me up. I hit the first mile @ 5:30, trying hard to hang with the leaders, many of whom would finish in the 16s. Obviously I'm not doing that. Still, a good effort on sore legs (if I'm being honest, a sore ass), beating the other fastish trail guy out of our collective element.

running 40:00 [2] 5.0 mi (8:00 / mi)

I ran, literally, around Baldwin City. I come from a small town.

running 35:00 [2] 3.5 mi (10:00 / mi)

More Baldwin running, this time with my Mom.

Wednesday Nov 21, 2012 #

running 1:00:00 [2] 6.5 mi (9:14 / mi)

Easy trail run on a beautiful day. I'd bottle this weather up if I could. Then I went to the gym and hit the weights, focusing, as usual, on squats and weighted lunges.

Tuesday Nov 20, 2012 #

running 1:12:00 [3] 9.0 mi (8:00 / mi)

A fair bit of easy running, with the 6x1. Felt great.

Monday Nov 19, 2012 #

elliptical 2:00:00 [2]

Getting my legs back, and lifting.

Sunday Nov 18, 2012 #

running 2:00:00 [3] 15.0 mi (8:00 / mi)

I don't think yesterday could have taken that much out of me, but for whatever reason, I felt really exhausted today. I could have done the third hour, but not with the required intensity. So I decided just to hammer out the two.
