ahr:170 max:189 shoes: Hoka One One Bondi 6

Calais, VT; Decided to check out some of the town trails that I'd found with Charlie the other day, really nice run minus how much wind I was sucking the whole time, parked and started at the Curtis Pond Recreation Area then up Worcester Rd. to the Robinson Ridge Trail which I just kept on until I hit 2 miles, then turned back, sunny and warm

Splits: 10:07, 11:58, 10:31, 8:43

ahr:165 max:179 shoes: Hoka One One Bondi 6

Calais, VT; Same run as yesterday on Balentine Rd., heart rate is running a little high this week probably due to the hills (obviously), but also the calorie deficit I've been intentionally running as I transition back into a healthy MO, another gorgeous morning

ahr:163 max:179 shoes: Hoka One One Bondi 6

Calais, VT; Really exploring things this week...well, as much as one can within 1-1/2 miles of the house...decided to do an out-and-back on Balentine Rd. today rather than loop around, another really beautiful [hilly] road, and another beautiful morning

Splits: 9:50, 9:27, 8:29

ahr:162 max:186 shoes: Hoka One One Bondi 6

Calais, VT; Sand Hill out-and-back, decided to check it out...and boy what a hill that is, pretty much straight up once you get to 3/4 mile from the house, didn't get to run downhill until I turned around at 1.5 miles, had to walk a few times on that one (as I've been doing the last couple runs anyways), I think it's safe to say that if I stick with getting in shape this time there's not too many excuses to NOT get in shape with all the climbing around here, absolutely gorgeous morning to boot

Splits: 10:00, 10:42, 8:33

Calais, VT; Quick ride with Aminah before she had to head off to work, beautiful sunny afternoon, Sabin Pond looked pretty enticing...

ahr:153 max:171 shoes: Hoka One One Bondi 6

Calais, VT; Batten Rd. loop, ran about 3/4 of the way up the Balentine Rd. hill before walking the last steep section, resumed running on the flat, and then walked up the beginning of Batten Rd. to the stone wall and ran the rest, had a massive swarm of deer flies behind me on Batten Rd., which forced me to pick up the pace a bit (I probably shouldn't have turned around to look), nice cooler/cloudy morning

ahr:156 max:181 shoes: Hoka One One Bondi 6

Calais, VT; Batten Rd. loop, intentionally walked from the beginning of Balentine up to the top of the hill at the beginning of Batten Rd., was really depressing to feel out-of-shape even while walking up a hill less than a mile into the run...that shit needs to stop today, warm and sunny though, and Batten Rd. is gorgeous as always (well, always being the now 2 times I've actually run up there), although I've said it a million times, and I'm sure I'll say it a million more, it's time to get back on the saddle...let's go!

Splits: 11:21, 10:34
