Ankle achey after yesterday's longest run yet so not running today, would have swam but too busy today. Also saw a physio today just to make sure I'm on the right track, confirmed a grade 2 sprain of anterior talofibular ligament and I'm doing all the right things, going to progress strength / balance exercises further. Ankle still takes a long time to loosen off at the start of runs but as long as discomfort doesn't persist for 24h after running it's fine.
