Commuting 48:23 [2] 14.53 mi (18.0 mph) +402ft
shoes: Answer Impact MTB

Ride in from near the WFC/WOD. A little colder than expected but clear 30D with an easy tailwind. Nice but easy ride.

Heated my leg before I rode. I think this made a slight difference to loosen the leg muscles. Not sure if this is solving whatever the core problem is though.

Strength 25:00 [3]
(injured)

At the office again. A shorter workout with lighter weights to allow for muscle recovery. 3 sets 1 round. Still no legs.

Dr B again to try and figure out what is going on with my leg and foot. No dice.
11 AM

Strength 40:00 [3]

Was at the home office doing some research proposals so I stopped by the gym. First time since last fall.

Did a full workout minus legs. 3 sets and 2 rounds. Reps were high and had to reduce my weight a bit from what I was at last fall. Muscles were pretty wasted by the end.

Trail Running 54:52 [2] 6.77 mi (8:06 / mi) +356ft 7:43 / mi
(injured) shoes: Asics 2110 (#2)

Foot was in pain. Started out ok but pain grew as I ran. There were instances when it wouldn't hurt depending how my foot landed but 90% of the steps hurt. Turning or balancing on the trail and downhill was the worst. Started to adjust how I ran to compensate.

Other than that it was a great run. Ran home from the metro after giving KT the car. Utilized the new trails I found which made for a much better run than the last run from the metro. Almost all trail. Took some time deciding on direction through the new park but I was able to cover most of the trails with minimal overlap. Messed up a little towards the end.

About 35D and dark.

Foot was a little sore/painful this morning. I think just from Dr B working on it. Should be better tomorrow.
8 AM

Commuting 53:29 [2] 16.29 mi (18.3 mph) +650ft
shoes: Answer Impact MTB

Pretty easy ride in. Mostly tailwind with some 25+ gusts from the side. 30D and 20WC.

Still riding the spare wheels from last week.
5 PM

Commuting 56:15 [2] 14.99 mi (16.0 mph) +578ft
shoes: Answer Impact MTB

Ride to Ballston. Pretty much my old commute. Wind was wicked. 20+MPH HW. Didn't have to worry about using the brakes much, just sit up. 35D 25WC

Miss the "climbs" on this ride.
6 PM

Note

Met with some AR newbies to help them prepare for Rev3 Epic AR.
8 PM

Commuting 23:30 [2] 6.41 mi (16.4 mph) +347ft
shoes: Answer Impact MTB

Ride home from Ballston. Less wind on the WOD but felt it again on 7. Similar conditions to this morning.

Apparently restarted my watch after I got home.

Dr B. Followup from Friday. Definitely better. He was able to work a little harder on me this time. May be good to go.
