Road Running race 20:26 intensity: (9 @1) + (8 @2) + (13:31 @3) + (6:08 @4) + (30 @5) 3.1 mi (6:35 / mi) +202ft 6:12 / mi

3.2 for 32
Girls slept in a little which meant we had to rush a bit. I also woke up sore all over. Didn't sleep great with some bad dreams also. I considered not bothering to run and just walk with the girls but loosened up and started to feel better as I got moving. I showed up at the start about 10 seconds before the moment of silence. Perfect timing.

Didn't push too much but tried to run hard. Had to slow a bit on the final mile. A little faster than last year. Think more speed work and a bit more stadiums would improve my speed a bit more making me happy with where I would be at. Still need more strength and endurance in my bike legs too.

Girls showed up at the start just as the strollers left too.

Road Running 6:55 intensity: (6:37 @3) + (18 @4) 0.82 mi (8:26 / mi) +36ft 8:06 / mi
ahr:155 max:162 shoes: Scott eRide AF Support

Kept going after I went through the banner. Caught up to the girls who were at the front of the stroller group.

Hiking 40:04 intensity: (4:43 @0) + (20:18 @1) + (11:44 @2) + (3:09 @3) + (10 @4) 2.22 mi (18:03 / mi) +145ft 17:00 / mi
ahr:116 max:164 shoes: Scott eRide AF Support

Walk/run with the girls. A bit more crowded being at the front of the stroller group made it harder to run when the girls wanted to run but we found our spots. E was more interested in running this year but struggles to keep up with Nut. I ran/pushed them in the stroller a bit too.

Nut wanted to keep running after we finished. She told me her favorite sport is running <3 and her second favorite is riding her bike. I told her mine too!

Weather was perfect. 69 and sunny. Rain clouds rolled in just as we finished.
