BROC Beginner Course w/Nut/E
Great course for them. Lots of trails but some off-trail travel on other features. Girls enjoyed it and Nut did a good bit of the navigating with E helping some.

We ran into Ms. West and Heron playing in PC.

Cleared all the points. Had to get the advanced course in order as there was still somebody out on it.

More water up on the mountain than I was expecting. Stopped to drink and cool myself off twice.

Navigation was clean and had some good choices. Could have maybe gone the other way over the ridge between 4 to 5. Almost forgot to go back and get #1 at the end. Had to go back out to get it after 13.

Found a heavily used trail below snakeroot and also found an old cut across the creek from Royale.

Pandaplace
Started in a downpour. Took a direct route to the cave in order to see the girls on their walk. They were enjoying the downpour too. Left them and got back on track. Rain slowed and then stopped at about 20 min.

Pace was slow but that's what my body was up for. Assuming the wetness slowed me a bit too.

Got back and had lots of chafing. Had used body glide. Should have switched to tights when the rain started.

Lick Run
Easy run. Did some strides on the last quarter. Humid but not too hot.

F150 was driving down Homeplace UGD6357. They didn't stop to say Hi.

Rode to vote and pick up some medicine for Zitch.
Could tell I might get some rain as the sky was dark. Started raining pretty heavily before I got to PF and continued for about 25 minutes when it started pouring and thundering, so I stopped. Radar was predicting about an hour more of heavy rain so KT and the girls got ready to pick me up but then it started to clear. I waited a few more minutes and then continued on my planned route. It rained lightly until the last 15 minutes. NWS measure about 1/2" of rain. We got about 1/4" at home as we missed the first half of the storm but got more of the second.

Descents were super slow during the heavy rain. I also was uber careful on the Jennelle descent. My average speed wasn't that slow considering the conditions. The Cedar Run climb was really nice and pretty strong.
