Orienteering race 2:45:08 [3]

Kinder Fellrace

Had problems with the scale and did a lot of stupid misstakes becuse of that. Had to relly make my self keep on running the whole way, not cuse I was tired, more anoyed of my bad orienteering. Got a big hole in my map in the end, but culd follow other runners and tried to put all focus on running quick, so Im quite satisfied with this part of the race.

Good session! Could run with Anwen as company all the intervals, great to do intervals with somebody else on a thursday for a change!

10 BB squats warm up
3 x 5 (65, 67, 67) HHS
3 x 2 x 5 (35kg) step ups (5 one each leg)
3 x 2 x 5 (8 kg) single leg dead lift
3 x 10 press up on bar + 10 hanging row
3 x 8 x 5kg crunch + 8 x 8kg russian twist + 8 x 10kg hypers

Was pretty much still asleep, but legs were okey, even after the drills monday (: Probably the only gym-session this week.

Planed to do one and a half hour, but was a bit to quick on the way back.

Intervals with ShUOC in the park! (:

2 x 4 min (2 min rest)
3 x 2 min (1 min rest)
4 x 1 min (1 min rest)
5 x 30 s (30 s rest)

The field in Endcliff Park had suddenly turned into a bis marsh with a smaller lake in one of the end. So it was slippy and wet and I left the training covered in mud. But it was a good training! (: Had some problems to keep up in the end of the second 4 min, but did the rest good. Especialy satisfied with the 30 s, think that the training from last week plus the drills have given result. I'm probably not quicker yet, but I know that I can run faster and I tried to concentrate on moving my feet very quick! :D

Run up Pen y Fan, one of the hardest long runs (without racing) I probably ever done.
