trail run race (Ragnar Relay) 53:00 [4] 8.5 km (6:14 / km)

Gosh I love running in the dark. (I say this now but I'm sure that in November, it'll get old and fast!)

Headlamp started flashing about 4km in. Oops. Should have freshened up the battery knowing that I used the same headlamp around camp. Made it in with light but had to keep readjusting each time it flickered. It made me run faster I suppose.

trail run race (Ragnar Relay) 50:00 [4] 7.3 km (6:51 / km)

Yellow loop. known as the medium loop but it was definitely my hardest go about. 2 big climbs rather then a bunch of punchy blips.

Such a fun event, honoured to join a great team!

Ragnar Relay with Salomon Blue Mountain. Green loop for me to start which was the 'easiest'. This was probably my biggest effort because I was feeling the freshest so I argue different. ;)

Hike with Hank and Goose from the chalet at Albion. Did some Mud Hero spying and great chats. Stuck around and had a picnic with Hank and then met up with Mandy for a shorter hike in the same area.

I’m starting to know what 5km pace feels like and I’m certain I never want to any longer than 20 minutes at that pace. Awful.

Awesome run with goose. Still feeling sluggish on the climbs. Can’t say it was the heat. Ideal running temps today. Excellent company and beauty run. Goose is fit!
