Kickstart to the OCup season!
A fun course with some dog-bone legs in the box! Lots of green to avoid and I learned that the hard way going to one CP in the box... ouch.
Some sloppy route choice during the race but other than that I was pretty consistent and reading ahead.
My tummy wasn't a happy camper, and neither was my foot - but it still felt good to get out on a new map!

Taped up my feet so I wouldn't get blisters, but regardless I had pain in my leg after 20 mins. I was also feeling pretty whooped from the gym yesterday.
The mornings are starting to get chillier but I'm still in denial that it's time to start wearing tights again

Note

One more midterm and then I'll get back to it.

Got my orthotics today so I will be slowly increasing the mileage over the next few weeks until I can get back to my normal mileage without pain!
