Cycling 45:00 [1]

Borrowed a bike and went to visit our place from when we lived in Sweden 11 years ago! It was tough riding since the bike really only had 1.5 gears...
Got to see the real life Gula Stigen though!

First solid workout in a while! Felt quite strong actually but on the last 2 30s I was feeling pretty wiped. Leg was hurting a lot too so I stopped. My blister didn't hurt at all though so everyone's advice really helped! Thanks :))

With some peeps from Linné! Gorgeous evening so I ditched the rest day... I didn't wear my orthotics and my blister didn't even hurt until I took off my shoes! Yay!

About 10mins of running warm up and 3x stides.
The rest was drills and skipping stuff.

Ran an open course and had some struggles. Took some time to get into the map and really focus. Lots of big mistakes until I could get the hang of things. The last 5or 6 controls were quite good. Also not going so fast because of the blister of death :(

A course on the same map from Tuesday. Log leg followed by 3 shorter legs. Made a lot more sense than on Tuesday! Still have no clue about leg 17-18...

Blister is killing... any suggestions to what to do? There's still skin but it's being pulled down towards my heel. I've tried to dry it out but it stings all the time.

Core 25:00 [2]

20mins of core before running and 5 mins of lower leg bands after

Orienteering 50:00 intensity: (12:59 @2) + (37:01 @3) 8.68 km (5:46 / km) +74m 5:32 / km
ahr:160 max:178 shoes: Saucony Guide 10

10mins warm up along the river to the map, easy run around a sprint course and then cool down with some speedy bits home. The map seemed fairly relevant to JWOC with some curvy residential streets and some little parky bits. Some good long routechoice too. Blister on my right foot it quite the unhappy camper :(

Orienteering race (Sprint ) 17:23 [5] 3.2 km (5:26 / km)

WCup sprint Q

Similar outcome to yesterday - great nav but poor running.

One small error from 2-3 where I started running a different way than I had planned and didn't really notice I was at one building too early since I had already started to read the next leg. Took a moment to back track and sort it out. I think I picked the right routes for most of the legs too, which is good.

The course was lots fun too, and it was great to watch the Final from the arena.

WCup sprint relay - 1st leg

Right off the start we ran right uphill to the start triangle and I knew from there that it was going to be a tiring race... I felt totally drained and my legs were heavy right off the bat. The majority of the race was clean and my routes were well executed. I had pretty good flow through the middle park section and was reading ahead the whole race. I made a little mistake at 12 when I went into a green area with some other girls (there was a gate that was open and people standing there and I was a little thrown off). Recovered but not fast enough and the second pack got away. Tried to push my legs to keep going to the finish.

Overall a solid race navigationally, and I did all the things that I had to do, Im just not at speed at the moment. O-tervals and hills here I come!

Running warm up/down 10:46 intensity: (54 @2) + (9:52 @3) 1.56 km (6:55 / km) +24m 6:26 / km
