Note

The sore throat i've had for 2 weeks might finally be developing into something more. Went to bed with intentions to run in the morning but when I woke up my body was so heavy and my head was pounding. A little extra sleep but i'm still feeling yucky. An evening run might happen but it might not...

Met up with the TNT crew and warmed up with them, then a lil run on my own. It was starting to snow and I got a big flake in my contact and couldn’t see and went over a lil on my ankle. Ice ice ice.

Also not sure if that run made my incoming cold better or worse.

Corridor-O course from a while ago. Decided to go slow and read everything since it was my first time really orienteering in a while. Middle part tripped me up because the field has become totally different than how it was mapped. Cut off one little corner to get to the nicer part of the valley. Then got confused and tried to re-start at another part of the course but by then I was running late so I boogied back on the trail. Some nice raspberry bushes out there but also some sweet open forest. Can’t forget the steep muddy downhill bum slides.
Things that I need to get back into for O in the next little while:
- actually staying focused
- compass.
