All the single track, all the single track.

A lil RTH prep. Nothing like sloppy trails and the remnants of fall to make your heart full. Felt pretty good throughout but was a little hungrier than I would have liked. Not sure if I’m super stoked about these shoes on gnarly trails. A bit too stiff and I was being thrown around a bunch. Either that or I am out out technical running practice. Glad I wore my brace after a wet bridge wipeout.

Not sure shoe choice for RTH?

Borrowed mom’s bike for a wrist test. I knew that from the amount of ouch in my wrist going over the railway tracks, this wasn’t gonna be successful. Soreness in wrist and in my pinky. Came home and went for a walk instead.

Meant to go do a tempo but my legs just started towards the trails...

Slip sloppy trails and heavy legs but was a perfect temperature and colours are still sorta out. Still having some pain in my bruised shin when running downhill.

Pushed hard to dethrone my teammate on a Strava segment by 1 second. Never thought I’d ever say that, but here we are.

These shoes feel like clouds are giving my feet a hug.

Stuck to the roads because I wanted to test these new shoes before getting them dirty, and I was also pooped after the final fall clinic so trails would have been too much brain power. Almost gave up but then ran into a friend so we ran and chatted together to pass the time. Lovely evening!
