Warm up and then hard attempt at Wolf segment. That’s a hard 3km. Everything hurt, lungs burning and snot was dripping but managed a great time in 9:19
The ski cough is real.

Beaver trail and frozen pond ski with Hammer to round off 400km of skiing this month. That’s the most I’ve skiied in a year - and all in one month!

Super toasty on every part of my body except my chin and cheeks - brr!
Thought that I found a new talent of skiing while wiping cold tears from my eyes with ski poles and mitts on ... then I face planted. Full body print and everything.
A short adventure on the frozen pond from the lookout just as the sun fully went away - pretty!

Definitely not a segment chasing day ... sliding out sideways and having your chain fall off half way around doesn’t bode well...
Still learning about fat biking and feeling like a noob but the downhills are fun.

8km warm up with Hammer, then 4x 1km ski intervals (about 3:25-3:30 avg pace) with 30s sprints to finish it off.
First Nordic ski intervals put me in a new level of pain but it felt great to push myself a bit more again! Need to work on rhythm when going faster.

Beautiful sunny ski with Hammer! Just enough silky snow on top of fresh grooming to make it feel like skiing on clouds!
Almost had a Waddington pile up on the Otter.

Glad to see that the HRM is working. Though interesting to see how high my HR was on this when it felt so cruisy.

Snowy snowshoe with Etoile!
ML out to Beaver to help pack some stuff down. Started snowing once we got on the Beaver, and was coming down pretty hard at points. Couldn’t see our footprints from the way out when we came back.
Joined by Hammer for the last bit back.
