Lil bit of this lil bit of that. Lots of sun and post holing up to my thigh. Little pop over to the river to check out the swans on the ice, but was too busy to get closer. Tm morning!
Little ouch in my right hip, hopefully just from working OT in the snow ...

Yoga 20:00 [0]

Hello hamstrings ... sore from snow running.

Self isolation day 1 strength + yoga
Feeling jet lagged, dehydrated from the plane, and overly relaxed after so much stress being lifted off my shoulders. Opted to stay in today and just rest and do a little strength.

(rest day)

Travel day.

After a lot of back and forth about even applying, how I would get there, if I could even get there safely, should I risk myself and others by going, and if domestic travel would even be allowed, I flew to Whitehorse to work for YOA yesterday. It was a tough decision and I was really nervous about flying.
Airport protocols were very smooth and it was easy to stay apart from people. Vancouver airport layover had lots more smaller rooms in corners to hide away from people. The only time I was uncomfortable was boarding and getting off the plane with everyone passing me by. But everyone was really diligent about masks aside from eating/drinking in small breaks.
I am in self isolation now for 2 weeks as the snow melts here in Whitehorse, only allowed out to exercise.
With no summer racing, this is going to be a great opportunity for me, and I can’t wait to get out in the bush to coach and adventure galore!

Hammer/suffer up the hills kinda run. Managed a few strava top 10s and a crown on this segment I’ve been eyeing. Not bad for spending the fall/winter in flat-as-a-pancake Nobel.

Muddy Monarch. Missed these trails. Perfect amount of mud and these shoes handled pretty well! Body feeling pretty good but still feeling a bit behind cardio wise.
