Paved Run 31:00 [3]

Mid-day break. It felt more laborious than usual because it's so warm! I downed a pint of Nuun when I got home.

Paved Run 20:00 [2]

To/from the gym with Kate!

BHC 10:00 [3]

I brought Kate to the gym! She was interested in core and arms, so I showed her the TRX, the inverted plate push-up, the face-pull machine, and then she wanted to try the box jumps too.

I warmed up on the 20" box, found that I was clearing it well, and went back to the 24". Maybe I'll try 26" next time! I feel like my progress has been pretty steady on jumping higher boxes, but there's got to be a curve to this progress. I can imagine jumping something as high as my waist, but jumping higher than my belly button or my shoulders? Yikes.

Kate seemed to like the gym, and picked up a flyer with their class schedule. BHC also has a deal with a local Bootcamp thingy, so I could get a discount on outdoor Bootcamp if I want... But then would I go to the gym anymore? Hmm.
