extremely breezy day with andy! we had hoped for horsetooth plus some other continental divide exploring, and for a day at least twice as long as what we did...but the 60 mph winds got us. that was that. nothing to be done. still, such a delight to see my old buddy...it's been WAY too long!

La Sportivas felt pretty good but they loosen up too easily near the ankles, humm..

flew down to Hill Country State Natural Area, just NW of San Antonio, to explore/run stretches of the Bandera course. i could have stayed out all day (wow with all the lichen and plant biodiversity!) but alas, had mtgs....

a pretty nice course; overgrown and quite rocky in places, but... still beautiful.. .
