Running 2:30:00 [3] 13.0 mi (11:32 / mi) +500ft 11:08 / mi
shoes: New Balance Zante V4_#4

first long run I've done in a long while...
been trying to stay off my hip for anything more than 5 miles at a time. my PT dude suggested I try a long one, so I hit sand creek going east, then north on sable, east on smith rd, north on picadilly, and east on 26th. whitney and the girls picked me up on Hudson and 26th, in Watkins, not far from the KCFO control tower.

I took pancake so had to stop several time to get her water, etc. it was a lot of industrial stuff for the first half, but got better and quieter on 2nd half. pancake really slowed down starting around mile 9 or so, but... hung on for her first half marathon!

my hip and hammy felt worse for the first 4 miles than for the last 6-7 miles, which was interesting. hip still very tight, and hammy still inflamed, but not as bad as it has been! so I guess something is working re: physical therapy? maybe it's that dry needling!?

all in all, felt so lucky to be out!
