Run from home to the start of the half marathon in the city centre

Tampere half marathon. Heavy rain, wet cobbles, and soft gravel. What a great homecoming party! Plan was to run 4:10-4:15 pace so quite happy with the execution. Especially when the conditions were so challenging. Sub 90min seems like a pretty ok time on that course. Mira was clearly faster but we had a good fight for the rest of the podium. Very tired jog back home with a heavy backpack filled with 2kg sports drink, food and a trophy :) Pleased to make it 30k all in all with the warm up and warm down.

5k tempo on track with the regional training group. Supposed to run at 4:10 pace but it felt very easy so I ran closer to 4:00 pace. Felt good all the way and able to sped up 15s on the last lap! (1:20) :)

Discovering new old paths in the home forest. Lovely to explore the old hoods as if they were new! Only got lost a few times ;)

5x2000m/400m track intervals at 4:05-4:10 pace. Very tired legs and it was hard work right from the start. Had to force myself through the workout. One of those days when you're just happy to get it done..
