FinnSpring relay #6. Awful. Struggling with my ankles and hard to find good routes. Didn't make any bigger mistakes, just getting annoyed that it was such a struggle all the time and nothing came for free. One bad route choice/execution, otherwise just slow and clumsy. Sipoonkorpi Trail 21K. Ran controlled and relaxed the first half and then accelerated a little on the second half. Did my own run, just having a few guys hanging behind me. 4x1,2km hill reps in Pyynikki. No power but still more alive than on Tuesday.

Easy trail run in Kauppi checking the NiceTrail route. Still very icy. Salming Elements worked quite alright on soft ice but obviously not on hard ice.

Orienteering 50:00 [2] 5.43 km (9:12 / km) +100m 8:26 / km

Orienteering Kauppi #5. Right after the trail run I bumped into Lammikko, got a map, and ran an orienteering course. Feeling tired and out of energy but still a lot of fun. Decided to quit my fast in the evening in order to recover before the weekend. Surprised how well Salming shoes worked in terrain.

Easy run before my juice breakfast. Feeling dizzy and powerless but still it went better than I had expected. Felt okay after I got my juice and herbal tea.
4 PM

Running hills 50:00 [2] 8.0 km (6:15 / km) +258m 5:23 / km

Gentle hill reps in Pyynikki 4x1,2km. Ran very easy but climbed up four times. Felt powerless but otherwise fine during the run but quite awful afterwards. You shouldn't train twice a day when fasting. I doubt whether you should train at all...

Iltarastit Luukki #4. Nice but tough terrain, especially with some snow left in the forest. Orienteered quite well but took it physically fairly gently. Just started my 3-day fast today and feeling therefore a bit dizzy during the warm up. However, I forgot my hunger as soon as I started to orienteer and it was only afterwards when I realised how hungry I was. Very near quitting the fast already.
